![]() The only downside is that you can’t get one until the most brutal part of winter. For them, the Sondors Rockstar will likely be just right. Plus, record numbers of people are hopping on bikes because of COVID, and some of those people are going to want to get off the streets and into the wild. But for someone that wants to goof around with their first full-suspension bike, this price is very competitive. If you're out there thrashing trails every weekend, you need something that can handle that kind of abuse. I have a feeling that true mountain bike buffs will poo-poo Sondors' Rockstar, and I totally get it. I'm also quite happy to report that Sondors does include a throttle on the Rockstar, and listen, pedal assist is great for 98 percent of your ride, but sometimes you just need to rocket past someone. The company quotes a range of 40-60 miles depending on how much you pedal, and given the parallels to my ride, I think that estimate is completely plausible. Lots of range - The Rockstar includes a 48 volt, 21 Ah battery that’s integrated into the downtube, and this too is similar in capacity to the one I have. With 750 watts of hill crushing power from our new mid drive motor, combined with 21 amp hours of ride-extending energy from our biggest battery to date, Rockstar is the ultimate flow machine, perfect for charging that climb you. Sondors says this one is a 750 watt unit, which should be more than enough. We’ve put everything we know about eBIKES into Rockstar, our first ever dual-suspension electric mountain bike. The motor looks to be an exception, though, as it's clearly a Bafang mid-drive motor similar to the one I have in my bike. Now, Sondors presumably won't be including a bunch of name-brand parts on the Rockstar from the pictures it appears that the front fork is house brand, and at this price point I would assume most of the other parts are white label. It’s $2,599! That price is wild.ħ50 watts of power - You can hardly get a non-electric full-suspension bike for that price, so this is pretty exciting. The Cruiser and LX models aren’t terribly interesting (to me anyway), but the Rockstar stopped me in my tracks. PLEASE RESPOND BY TEXT TO 720 THREE TWO NINE 5858. Moving overseas, otherwise would keep.Asking 2,950. ![]() Several months waiting list for new ones. There was a very limited run for October delivery this morning, but it appears those are already out of stock. Sondors Rockstar electric bicycle with only 52 miles in like new condition in Supernova yellow color. ![]() The longer parts go on the bottom of the shock but take a pic to make sure you put it together right, if you don't you will notice it and will have to correct it before it can go back in.These things are selling fast - Sondors, a relative small but established electric bike company, announced its Elite series of mid-drive bikes earlier this year, and pre-orders are open for its three models for delivery in January. SONDORS is a premium electric transportation company. The Rockstar features a premium ergonomic gel seat designed for all-day riding comfort. The knobby Maxxis tires are designed to roll over obstacles like rocks, roots, and bumps without losing traction. The Rockstar is 750W nominal with a 1008Wh battery. It can take a four-and-a-half-foot drop and still go strong. We’ve put everything we know about eBIKES into Rockstar, our first ever dual-suspension electric mountain bike. The 2021 Levo SL Comp also has a peak output of 240W and a 320Wh battery. Honestly, thats a less-than-helpful comparison. Hitting it might tap the plastic bearing out so don't hit it in. About double the weight of the Specialized Levo turbo, but 1/3 the price. They get pushed back into your new shock you can do it with firm force but use your hands to get it started back in. With dual suspension, a very big battery and a powerful Bafang Ultra mid-drive motor, the Rockstar still. The silver shock mount spacers just slide out with a little force, remove the two black spacer plastic pieces first pay attention to what went where and be prepared to reuse what came off originally they fit the bike as is, you are just adding a different shock. Malibu-based ebike manufacturer Sondors has released its new Rockstar enduro machine. I hope this helps, and lets see the new addition! Might help to "pull it out" with pliers, spraying WD-40 but they are about 3" in legth or so, just be careful not to mess up the metal using pliers. It might help to lift the bike and take weight off the bolts to help it slide out easier. The four screws are sets of two each, a long one and short one, you have to drive out the long one because once the short side is removed turning it won't do anything but spin, but spinning and driving with light taps will push the long side all the way out. ![]() Gently tap the loose screw so that the other long allen bolt can be slightly driven out on the other side of the bike. Take the 2 short bolts off one side and screw them back in, part way but still sticking out of the hole like a loose screw.
